![]() How is a person to navigate through life with all its challenges? There are so many decisions, changes, problems and questions. Who? What? When? Where? How? Why? None of us has all the answers. You can read a lot of books and still not know what to do. Some just let life take them down whatever path it leads them. Others have their own mind about what they want and where they’re going. But the Bible teaches us to let God be the navigator of our lives if we want to be truly blessed. This is the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-7. Here we learn how to let God navigate life for us. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding.” Put your complete confidence in Him. Listen to what He says and believe that He will always come through for you. You do not know what you think you know, and you cannot do what you think you can do. He is the only One you can truly trust with your life.
“In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Don’t take one step without considering God. He is there. He has a plan and purpose for your life. He will make the way for you. Say with the prophet, “O LORD, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps. O LORD, correct me…” (Jeremiah 10:23-24). “Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.” It is God who is to be revered above all. “Holy and awesome is His name” (Psalms 111:9). When you have the proper respect for Him, you will stay away from sin and you won’t have to fear anyone or anything else. Remember, your life is in God’s hands. Do you trust God with all your heart? Do you acknowledge Him in all your ways? Do you fear Him? Are you letting God be the navigator of your life?
