Are You A boy or A girl?

​We are being told by some that our gender identity is not determined by our physical body but by our own mind.  If you are a boy but think you are a girl, then your gender identity is not male but female.  We are further told to respect such gender identity and to treat one another accordingly.  For example, a boy who thinks he is a girl should be allowed into the girl’s restrooms, locker rooms and showers and should be allowed to participate as a girl in sporting events and the like.  Most recently on the news a boy was participating as a girl with girls in a wrestling competition.

I​t should be clear to everyone that just because you think something does not make it so.  If you think you are a pig it does not make you a pig.  You are still a human being even though you may think you are a pig.  Should a person who thinks he is a pig be treated as a pig just because he thinks he is a pig?  What you think does not change your gender.  Gender is biological, not psychological.  To deny your biology is to deny reality.  We used to call that insane but now some are trying to force us all to accept it as sane, reasonable, rational thought.
 
Each one of us is born as either a male or a female.  If we refuse to accept this reality, we are denying our Creator and His design for our lives.  “God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them” (Genesis 1:27).  Still, some have gone so far as to try and change their gender with surgery and hormones.  They have purposefully mutilated and deformed their bodies from their original forms rather than accept the gender God gave them.  This has led to confusion and chaos throughout our society.

“God is not the author of confusion” (1 Corinthians 14:33), Satan is.  Do not be deceived by this insane way of thinking.  Isaiah warned long ago, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).
